Get to know the woman behind the camera

Hi there! I’m Kristen Bosman, a Michigan-based photographer rooted in the beautiful Blue Water area. I’m available for local and destination work, collaborating with individuals, brands, and artists who value authenticity and storytelling.  In 2018, I earned my Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and General Education from St. Clair County Community College, and I’m currently pursuing a BA in Studio Art with a focus in photography at Oakland University.

In 2022, I launched Kristen Elizabeth Photography, a space where my creative vision could come to life. What started as a personal passion has evolved into a professional practice that celebrates life’s biggest moments and the quiet ones in between. I specialize in a variety of genres including weddings, portraits, and fine art photography, each offering a chance to tell authentic stories through vibrant color, emotion, and movement. My work blends documentary, lifestyle, and cinematic elements to create imagery that feels both real and timeless. I’m drawn to natural light, raw emotion, and the beauty that exists within imperfection.

Whether I’m capturing the deep connection between two people or the chaos and joy of a big life event, my goal is always the same: to make people feel something. Photography, for me, is not just about taking pictures, it’s about witnessing. It’s about creating space for emotion, truth, and reflection. Through my lens, I aim to capture the essence of who we all are, flawed, beautiful, and endlessly evolving.
